QA / QC Expert
<p>Description:</p><p>QC Analyst<br />
Job Purpose:<br />
To perform analytical testing in support drug product manufacturing within a cGMP environment.<br />
Major Accountabilities:<br />
• Responsible for testing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), excipients, packaging materials and finished dosage forms.<br />
• Responsible for maintaining laboratory cleanliness, including housekeeping, waste disposal and maintaining laboratory inventory for chemicals and consumables.<br />
• Responsible for peer reviewing test data, evaluating anomalous results and support investigations when necessary.<br />
• Responsible for creating/revise/review SOPs/WPs and provide internal trainings to users.<br />
• Responsible for adhering to the Novartis global/site policies, procedures.<br />
• Subject Matter Expert for specific analytical instrument and capable of independently trouble shooting analytical and instrumental issues. Co-ordination of equipment calibration and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting with external vendor. Provide trainings to end users.<br />
• Supporting laboratory improvement and transfer projects (e.g equipment qualification, method transfer/verification)<br />
• Performs other duties as may be required or necessary<br />
<br />
Education (minimum/desirable) :<br />
Diploma or Degree in a pharmaceutically related subject. E.g. chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science.<br />
Languages : English<br />
Experience : 0-2 years laboratory experience within the Pharmaceutical or related industry.<br />
Systems/Software Experience Required: SAP, Microsoft office, HPLC, GC, dissolution tester, FR-IR, UV spectrometer.<br />
